Christmas Traditions

We have a few things that we do every Christmas.  We prepare with our Advent wreath and a special prayer each evening for the four weeks leading up to Christmas.  My kids get excited about lighting the candle at dinner each night.  However, it rarely makes it through an entire meal without someone blowing it out.

I host a Christmas Cookie Exchange every year.  It’s lots of fun to see friends that we don’t see often and the cookies are an added perk.  Here are some pictures from last year.

  1. It’s funny to me that I haven’t seen a lot of other people who are doing Advent wreaths. We are doing our first one this year and even made one (out of paper) with our kids!
