Life with the Bs

Tis the season

We had a great, Christmassy weekend!  Friday night, Tim and I had a date night to see Breaking Dawn part 2.  It was kind of cheesy, as a movie about vampires and werewolves should be, I guess.

Saturday afternoon, my mom, mother in law and I went to the Southern Trilogy of Homes Tour.  The Smith Plantation was my favorite.  The family was hoarders so all of the furnishings were original to the home.  The son’s chest from the Civil War sat in the attic unopened for over 100 years!  It made me want to keep more stuff 🙂

Then we headed to the city parade so Janie could walk in the parade with her girl scout troop.  Nolan loved watching the parade!  The motorcycles and firetruck were his favorites.  The parade was during the SEC Championship but we got to catch the end of the game.  The Dawgs put up a great fight!

CAM00393Today, we got our tree and went to the “Reindeer Safari” as Nolan calls it.

Dec 2012 020It was good to get into the holiday spirit, even though it was in the 70s.  I’m not complaining, I love it!
